Is SPPU's online degree valid?
Yes. SPPU is entitled by UGC to offer online degrees, and UGC treats online degrees from such universities as equivalent to regular ones.
Is this distance learning?
No. These are SPPU's online-mode programmes, with online classes and online exams. SPPU's distance-mode courses are separate, and your counsellor can explain the difference.
Is there an entrance test?
For the online MBA and MCA, yes: SPPU's CET. You take it online from home: 60 minutes, 50 multiple-choice questions, no negative marking, with a mock test first. BBA and BCA have no entrance test: seats are limited (360) and selection is on SPPU's merit list, based on Class 12 (Higher Secondary) results.
When is the next intake?
SPPU runs two sessions a year, in January and July, and the next one is January 2027. Your counsellor shares the CET and admission dates as soon as SPPU announces them.
How are exams held?
End-semester exams are proctored online, so you can take them from home.
What is SPPU's fee?
SPPU's published fee for the full programme, with registration and exam fees: MBA ₹1,61,880, MCA ₹1,59,880, BBA ₹1,37,980 and BCA ₹1,43,980. You pay SPPU directly for your programme, each semester (each year for BBA and BCA).
